Our Team

As founder of REGNO and strategic shareholder of Aura Group (a boutique investment bank), Steven Liao brings more than 10 years experience across investment, debt finance, real estate and property.

Prior to establishing Regno, Steven commenced his professional career in 2007 with Richardson and Wrench. Following that he worked at JLL, one of the world’s largest real estate professional service providers. He further cemented his property and real estate experience at UBW, a fast growing construction company and Newton Fisher, a leading Quantity Surveying firm in Sydney. In these roles he gained exposure to a wide range of development projects, geographies and property asset classes.

He holds a Bachelor of Construction and Property Management majoring in Property Development (Dean’s List) from the University of New South Wales.

Calvin Luo is a co-founder and director of Regno Trades.

Calvin is a veteran of the labour hire industry, having trained and employed hundreds of labours and construction workers from more than 5 countries over the span of his career.

Prior to founding Regno Trades with Steven, Calvin founded GreenForce. It was one of the largest labour hire and training company in its field specialises in meat production and employing over 50 employees per year.

Ben has had extensive experience within the home loan industry, from credit assessment in a major bank to running his own company Benchmark Mortgage Solutions. Ben has previously worked for Australian Credit & Finance (now Lendi) as one of their loan solution experts, co-managing a team of over twenty people and meeting settlement figures of $40mil per month.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Sydney.

Jay is a Senior Estimator & Project Manager for Regno Trades.

Previously Jay worked as head estimator and contract administrator for UBW, a prestige commercial fit out and residential construction firm. In UBW Jay has worked with reputable clients such as JLL, Brookfields, FDC, Buildcorp and USYD delivering projects worth over $60mil.

He holds a Bachelor of Construction and Property Management from the University of New South Wales.

Rosemary currently works as an Estimator & Contract Administrator for Regno Trades.

While young, Rosemary has an extensive and impressive background in construction and development. She draws from her experience in having previously worked as an Assistant General Manager at Bank of China, completed project plans for UN’s Utopia Offshore Refugee Solution as well as completing feasibility studies for various residential projects. She holds a Master of Construction Practice (Professional Program).
